Brilliant time. Most envious. How did you do it? Been chasing a sub-2 half for a while now. Signed up for London Marathon in spring too… very nervous!!

Thank you. I honestly have no idea how I did it except that whenever there was a slight downhill I pushed it hard, I know I can run well downhill. This course had lots of little downhill and I took advantage of each of them. Apart from that, NO idea. London is FANTASTIC, you’ll love it so much.

Congrats! Been reading awhile (I’m a fellow SF runner! I don’t have a blog though) and I just knew you’d make it based on your awesome training times! I ran a 2:10 at the SF Marathon first half so I’m not quite sub-two material yet. But … this may sound corny… you’re an inspiration!

Thank you. I honestly can’t tell you how touched I am by your comment. I’ve been inspired by the running blogs I read as well, they’ve definitely made me a better and faster runner and a lot of yesterday’s excitement is due to them, so I’m so happy about what you said. Thank you!!!! We must have run the SF first half together, it was a hilly little shocker, wasn’t it!!! Thank you so much for commenting….you’ve made me so happy 😉
