My Heart’s Content

All healthy living blogs need to start with a photo of cake pops, surely?

I was born with congenital heart disease and had surgery at the age of three.

I’m a little nervous though about the responsibility of blogging about life with heart disease. My intention isn’t to advise anyone about this – my degree is in foreign languages, not medicine. I have no medical qualifications. I am not qualified to speak about this. The thought of someone doing something I did and then dying fills me with fear. So if you’re reading this and you have a similar condition, please listen to your cardiologist before you listen to me.

But anyway, here goes. I’m going to blog to my heart’s content!! Come along for the ride!

About Cathryn

I'm from Wiltshire, a beautiful rural county in the south of England. My husband, son and I moved to California in August 2010 with my husband's job, whilst I stay at home with The Dude, our gorgeous five year old son. I love running and cycling. I'm a Christian. I am finally learning to cook (about time too). I'm loving exploring this new part of the world and meeting its wonderful people.
